This is a strong team that should do very well at the Americas Cup in Barbados this August 2006. Canada must come in first or second out of 8 countries in order to qualify for the World Tournament in Fiji 2007. There are 7 players returning to represent Canada and they are Sharon Butler, Melissa Crowe, Rebekah Eatmon, Christy Hagen, Maralyn Hope, Shirley Anne MacKenzie & Keisha Wilson.

Canada's coach will be Ann Willcocks, a veteran of Netball and longstanding Canadian Coach. Mary Webb is the Manager for the team and Darren Knox is the team's Physiotherapist.
